Exmatriculation or new employee – What happens to my profile?

Exmatriculated and now?

You have finished your studies and will be de-registered. This means you will also lose your TUBS ID and will no longer be able to log in to the Sandkasten platform. But there are ways to stay involved with Sandkasten after your studies.

Either: You register with your private e-mail address on the Sandkasten platform and start a new profile.

Or: You wait for the email reminder “Save your Sandbox profile” and reply to it with your y-number and your private email address and the Sandbox can save your profile.

You are now an employee and no longer a student

If you find a job at the university after your studies, you will receive a new TUBS ID, which will replace your previous y-number. With the new TUBS ID, you can also log in to the sandbox platform and get involved. However, there may be difficulties if your old e-mail address is linked to your new TUBS ID. You can change your primary email address in your account customise yourself, so that there are no conflicts when logging in.
If you get a corresponding message when logging in, please contact Sandkasten and we will clean up your account so that you can log in again as usual in the future.

Delete manually

You no longer want to be a part of Kooperative-Campusgestaltung and want to delete your profile manually? Then simply log in and go to Your profile in the user menu; there you can delete your profile and decide whether your previous involvement should remain visible or be anonymised.

You have changed your mind

You can restore your profile up to three months after deleting it. All you have to do is log in again with your previous login details sandkasten.tu-braunschweig.de/login and confirm your profile restoration on the following page. :-)
