Tutorial videos – The platform
For all those who are new to the Sandkasten platform and want to find out how the platform works, we have uploaded tutorial videos on social media. We have summarized them here for you so that they are also accessible here on the website. Have fun browsing through them!
1) Website
The digital Sandkasten platform gives you an overview of all projects, events, sponsors, the coaches of the Sandkasten projects, sharing opportunities and anything else that might be of interest to you.
2) Project overview
An important part of the Sandkasten platform are the projects that you can support. You also get an overview of the actual content of the projects, who is involved and where the projects still need help. And of course you can create your own. But you’ll find out more about this in the next videos.

3) Create an account
To be active on the Sandkasten platform, you must first register. If you are a student or employee at the TU, you can simply use your TU login details. External users can log in with their e-mail address. You can see exactly how this works in the video here.

4) Create project
Perhaps the most interesting function on the Sandkasten platform is certainly how you can create a project. You can do this via “Your project” as shown here, but you can also do this via the project page. You can create a project at any time, if you are not quite sure yet, you can also send us an E-Mail and talk to us about it first.

5) Helping hands
If you don’t want to offer your own project directly, you can also register with “Helping Hands” with your skills and preferences. If project members then need help, they can look around on the “Helping Hands” page to see if they can find someone they would like to write to.

6) Lend things
Sharing offers you the opportunity to borrow all kinds of equipment that you might need for a sandpit project or similar. The items on offer are very different, just take a look for yourself!

7) Organizations
A wide variety of organizations, such as student initiatives, associations, etc., are involved via the Sandkasten platform. Here you can get an overview and register your own organization and participate in campus life on its behalf.
